Texas Basketball Championships is a series of statewide competitions to promote high school basketball in the Spring/Summer months. This association is comprised of high school basketball coaches from around the state and is not connected to the UIL. The organization aims to provide opportunities for athletes (male and female) to play with their high school teammates in the off-season.  To accomplish this, we organize State Qualifying Tournaments (SQT’s) scattered around Texas for male and female teams that attend public and private schools of all classifications.  Athletes must be zoned or otherwise legally enrolled at the school for which they are playing. Qualifying teams will be invited to compete in the TBC State Tournament in June.
